The 2008 APS/URSI symposium was held at San Diego, California, USA, from July 5^th to 12^th.  One of the largest conferences in the field of electromagnetics with international appeal, FEKO (represented by EMSS USA) was exposed to a wide range of personnel from both academia and industry.  Many potential and existing customers were given an impressive taste of things to come with the release of version 5.4 being just a few weeks away.

A total of 41 papers submitted to the conference referred to FEKO.  These included papers by Rohit Sammeta (who used FEKO to simulate a substrate integrated waveguide fed with a coplanar waveguide), Rensheng (Ray) Sun (who spoke about modeling radome structures using the different numerical methods available in FEKO) and C.J. Reddy (who gave a talk on a benchmark study on computational resources for numerical methods in electromagnetics).
