FEKO exhibited at ACES 2008
FEKO was exhibited at The 24th International Review of Progress in Applied Computational Electromagnetics (ACES 2008) in Niagara Falls, Canada from March 30 to April 4, 2008
FEKO was exhibited at ACES 2008. Two special sessions on FEKO modeling were organized. A total of 21 very interesting papers were presenetd by FEKO users at these two sessions. Topics of the papers covered a wide range of topics including antenna design, placement, optimization, electronic warfare etc. A list of papers presented at these two sessions are avaiable at:

Also on April 4th, 2008, FEKO User Group Meeting was organized. More
than 20 people attended the FEKO user group meeting. In the morning,
Dr. Ulrich Jakobus first discussed FEKO kernel extensions and
improvements in Suite 5.3, as well as the work going on for Suite 5.4.
Then Dr. Rensheng (Ray) Sun reviewed the new features in CADFEKO GUI
for Suite 5.3 with some demo examples. After a short break, FEKO users
Prof. Dejan Filipovic (University of Colorado, Boulder), Dr. Randy
Haupt, and Mr. Daniel Aten (both from Pennsylvania State University)
talked about how FEKO has been successfully used in their classroom
teaching as well as in research projects. In the afternoon session, Dr.
C.J. Reddy presented the latest benchmark data on using FEKO Suite 5.3
for electrically large structures. FEKO users provided feedbacks and
suggestions to the developers before the end of meeting.
