EMSS is pleased to announce that it has joined Altair’s innovative HyperWorks Partner Solutions Program. The new program provides HyperWorks customers with on-demand access to a wide-range of applications that complement Altair’s suite of applications.  HyperWorks customers will use their existing licenses to tap into partner applications without any additional costs to them. Within this program, FEKO will provide CEM capabilities that HyperWorks customers can begin using without risk.

Altair’s partnership program includes best-of-breed applications and makes complementary enterprise software readily available to customers at a fraction of the cost of separate enterprise licenses. The program features an accelerated deployment process that enables customers to obtain and utilise partner software seamlessly, without requiring a new purchase order or extra licensing agreement. This reduces administrative and acquisitions costs for customers.

“EMSS is pleased to be an inaugural partner in the HyperWorks Partner Solutions Program” said Ulrich Jakobus, FEKO Product Manager.  “Manufacturing companies are including more electrical components into their products increasing the demand for electromagnetic simulations and visualizations with our FEKO software. EMSS plans to leverage the global Altair sales team to expand market share and accelerate recurring revenues through participation in this program. We are excited to be part of this innovative On-Demand software distribution model and look forward to making FEKO's electromagnetic simulation technology available to a large customer base world-wide within this HyperWorks Partner Solutions Program.”

Altair’s partner program is a fundamentally new approach to how businesses purchase their applications. It delivers services that were previously only available to larger companies due to licensing, procurement and administrative costs. It delivers a powerful alternative to the comprehensive product stacks offered by the software giants yet it provides a significant advantage in comparison because it does not create vendor lock in.  Altair customers will be able to select best-of-breed technologies from multiple vendors.

“Altair is excited to have EMSS join our new HyperWorks Partner Solutions Program” said Michael Humphrey, vice president of partner programs at Altair. “EMSS is a highly respected company and their FEKO suite is the industry leading electromagnetics solution.  The inclusion of FEKO in the HyperWorks partner community expands our product offering and creates a win-win-win situation for our mutual customers.”

About EMSS

EMSS (www.emss.co.za) was founded in 1994 as a company consulting in electromagnetic field analysis and antenna design. Through consulting services EMSS identified the local and international need in the aerospace, naval and automobile industries for the simulation of antennas on electrically large platforms. FEKO was originally developed to target this market but has been extended to be applicable to a wide range of modern electromagnetic simulation problems.  Apart from antenna design and electromagnetic simulation product development EMSS is also involved in bio-electromagnetic consultation and simulation work.
