Problem Description
High frequency RF components typically involve waveguides of various
shapes, waveguide filters with irises and posts, slots or transitions
from square to circular waveguide and vice versa. Although the
mathematics that describe the synthesis of these components is very
elegant and highly evolved, good visualisation and optimisation tools
are still required to achieve optimum designs. The visualisation of
fields inside waveguide components and the optimisation of post size
