MRI
- Definition: Magnetic Resonance Imaging. A non-invasive method using nuclear magnetic resonance to render images of the inside of an object. It is primarily used in medical imaging to demonstrate pathological or other physiological alterations of living tissues. A more detailed introduction to MRI is presented in Wikipedia.

EM
- Definition: Electromagnetic. Electromagnetism is the physic of the electromagnetic field: a field which exerts a force on particles that possess the property of electric charge, and is in turn affected by the presence and motion of those particles.
