Analysis and Design of Broad-band and Multi-frequency Antennas using FEKO

Broad-band and multi-frequency antennas are analyzed and designed using the commercially available software tool FEKO. First, analysis of cage monopole and multi-wire antennas is carried out to validate the tool. Optimization tool, OPTFEKO, available with FEKO is used to improve the bandwidth of the cage monopole configuration. Design of a multi-frequency planar antenna using FEKO is also presented.
