Various sized ships are numerically modeled and simulated in FEKO as an approach to assess their potential Radar Cross Section (RCS) traits as they would pertain to a High Frequency Surface Wave Radar (HFSWR). The process by which these complex targets were built, simulated and validated is explored, with an insight into some of the emerging observations of this research. The results of these findings will be of importance to future bistatic configurations of HFSWR installations.
