In this paper, the frequency and time dispersion of Archimedean and equiangular spiral antennas are investigated using method of moments (MoM) code FEKO. Specifically, the transfer response of a communication link comprising two identical spiral antennas is first computed in frequency domain. Then, time domain distortion is obtained by post processing the frequency domain data using the Inverse Fast Fourier Transform (IFFT). The effect of source pulse shaping on the dispersion of spiral antennas and associated distortion of the communication link are, also, studied. Validation of computational results is performed by measurements.
