A Computer Simulation of 400 MHz and 1000 MHz Antennas Located on a High Mobility Multi-Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV)

The purpose of this paper is to illustrate calculated antenna patterns of dipoles located on a HMMWV vehicle using FEKO. First a simple wire antenna design will be explained. Two dipoles will be designed to operate at 400 and 1000 MHz. Then the FEKO code will be used to determine the Vehicle and antenna-antenna interactions using moment methods.
