The Application of FEKO Software to Ground Electronic Warfare Scenarios

This paper presents the modeling and simulation challenges faced by the ground electronic warfare community. Traditional analyses of radiated power focus on far field patterns in free space. The presence of a lossy ground in the application scenario necessitates an alternative approach. The use of FEKO software to perform a radiated field strength approach is presented herein.
