Installation and Licencing for Full Evaluation of FEKO

Full Evaluation

A full evaluation of FEKO allows the user to use an unrestricted version of FEKO for 45 days.  During this time the user will have access to technical support material and examples on the FEKO website and will also receive on-line technical support.

The process to follow if you want to evaluate FEKO is as follows:

  1. Request an evaluation licence via the FEKO website.  During this process you will be asked for some information that to help FEKO engineers support you during evaluation.  You will also be asked for an email address to enable our licencing system to send you further instructions via email.
  2. When your request has been approved, or you have been contacted by a FEKO representative, you will receive an email with further download instructions.
  3. After installing FEKO you will find the "request" file in the FEKO installation directory. This file is required to generate a licence and needs to be emailed to your FEKO representative.
  4. You will then receive a licence file which you will have to copy to the FEKO installation directory. Your installation of FEKO will be fully functional and you can start using it immediately.
Installation and Licencing for FEKO LITE

FEKO LITE

FEKO LITE is the free version of FEKO.  Although the size of the problems that can be solved with FEKO LITE is limited it can still be applied to small antennas and serves as a good tool to learn how to use FEKO.  FEKO LITE will be fully functional for 30 days, without being registered, but will then stop working.  At this point FEKO LITE can be registered and will then be activated in perpetuity.

The process to follow if you want to obtain FEKO LITE is the following:
  1. Request a download of FEKO LITE.  You will be asked for some contact information and an email address. (If you are in possession of a DVD of the current release of FEKO you can skip this download step and install directly from your DVD.)
  2. When your request has been approved, or you have been contacted by a FEKO representative, you will receive an email with further download instructions.
  3. Once installed you can start using FEKO LITE for 30 days. If you would like to continue using FEKO LITE after 30 days, you need to register. This can be done via the FEKO website. (Note: If you installed FEKO LITE from a DVD you need to supply some contact information.)
  4. A "request" file, that can be found in the FEKO installation directory, will be required to register.
  5. You will then receive a licence file which you will have to copy to the FEKO installation directory. Your installation of FEKO LITE will then be functional.
