Short Courses
The attendees are introduced to the different numerical methods available in FEKO. An understanding of the strengths and limitations of the different techniques, in particular, will enable them to use the most suitable method for different kinds of problems.
Proficiency in the use of the software is developed by letting all attendees work along with trainers on their own computers during interactive sessions.
A typical short course is presented over 2 days:
Day 1
- Overview of FEKO's abilities. [lecture]
- Introduction to the FEKO workflow and efficient model creation with
CADFEKO. [interactive]
Day 2
- Mathematical methods employed in the FEKO solver. [lecture]
- Setting up problems using various simulation methods in FEKO.
[interactive]
Often a 3rd day is added where the customer's specific needs are addressed. These are typically:- Advanced model construction methods.
- Specific applications (e.g. Antenna design with Antenna Magus, antenna placement, EMC, cable analysis).
- Assistance with the solution of the customer's own problem. Training in the types of work flow and problem setup that they will use in their regular application of FEKO.
Short courses can either be held on request at your premises or you can attend "open" short courses which are presented from time to time.

In the event that the current release of FEKO or your team's capabilities do no satisfy your technical or work requirements, the FEKO team can assist in the following ways:
- Special development - Development of product
features as requested by customers.
- Consultancy - Larger simulation projects can be undertaken on a contract basis.
