Modeling, analysis and design of planar dual-polarized frequency independent antennas using method of moments code FEKO are discussed in this paper. Specifically, 4 arm sinuous and spirals are considered. Near-field and far-field antenna parameters are computed at two different frequency bands of special interest for current and future electronic warfare (EW) needs. UHF platform interaction modeling with the full-size aircraft aimed at assessing the preservation of multi-arming benefits is also provided.
