This paper summarizes the analytical processes and computational techniques used to determine site installation impacts on the performance of a ground-based wideband transmitting system used for RF testing. As such, the design specifications required precise control of amplitude variation across the test region. The analysis described herein examined several site installation variables and their impacts on the three mechanically steerable arrays that comprise the broadband RF signal generation system.
